SPXL trade 04/13/2020

This post is a continuation of the $50 a month stock challenge I started October 14, 2019.  Click on, "No Commission Stock Trades", on the right side of the page to read from the start.

            $381.94 self-imposed April trading limit.
            2% of $381.94 = $7.64 April profit needed.

     Today, Monday (04/013), I bought and sold 1 SPXL share, paid $30.15 and sold $31.15.
     $31.15....….sold 1 SPXL @ $31.15
     $30.15.....….bought 1 SPXL @ $30.15
     $ 1.00 total profit

     $1.00 / $30.15 = 3.31% ROI

     I watched SPXL all morning and when it went under $30 I thought it would go much lower. It didn't go below $30 very far and didn't stay long and moved back up.

     Around noon (CDT) the market normally takes a little dip and I decided to buy that dip. Since I really do not trust this market, I entered a sale for $1 profit and was rewarded within 2 hours.

     This $30.15 (I can only use the purchase price and not  profit) is now "unsettled cash" and will turn to "cash" on Wednesday. At that time I can use it to try to make another profitable trade.
